Position Overview:
As a Breast MRI Technologist, you will perform high-quality breast MRI scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. You’ll work alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Breast MRI procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, screening, and education prior to exams
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any needs or concerns
  • Maintain equipment and follow all safety and compliance standards
  • Intravenous skills helpful
  • Opportunity to learn breast biopsy procedures 
  • Experience on Philips platform helpful 

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • BLS certification 
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of mammography

technologist. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) – ARRT.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist Preferred
  • Must provide 40 initial hours of training if registered on or after 10/1/1994
  • BCLS-Basic life support recommended

Duties and responsibilities:

Must be flexible to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and growing patient volume

Must demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety principles for both patient and self

Participate in Quality Control as required

Must engage in continuous experience in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory agencies rules and regulations.

In addition, experienced Front Desk receptionists, schedulers, medical records and billing personnel are always welcome to submit their credentials to BCS, including education and relevant experience.
